Inspired by my own family — and rooted in the storytelling traditions of Cape Breton Island — I focus on the quiet, in-between moments just as much as the big ones: the laughter, the stillness, the connection that makes a story feel real.
For me, this work goes beyond creating a wedding video or a business film. It’s about honouring the meaning behind every moment — the love, pride, and legacy woven into the lives of the people I film.

Because for me, this work has never been just about filming weddings — it’s about capturing what they stand for: connection, growth, and the moments that become part of a family’s story.
What began with weddings has grown into something more. Today, Family Lens Films tells stories of love, legacy, and community — from “I do” to everyday moments, to the heart of small, family-run businesses that keep our communities thriving.
I see everything through the lens of my own family — as a husband to my wife and a father to two beautiful daughters, Madison and Vienna. That perspective shapes the way I film. I notice the quiet pride in a parent’s eyes, the laughter that fills a room, or the small gestures that say everything without a word.
